Overview
The German Society for Research on Aging (DGfA) sees itself as an interdisciplinary body serving the exchange and discussion of scientific findings in the field of experimental gerontology in Germany and the German-speaking world.
One goal of the DGfA is thus to bring together basic and clinical researchers in the field of aging research. Their goals are to understand the molecular basis of aging and to improve both diagnosis and therapy of age-related diseases.
